Mimicking professional detection dog tasks, nosework or scentwork is a dog sport created to make a game out of a dog's favorite activity - sniffing. The dogs must find a hidden target odor, often ignoring distractors, and alert the handler. After the dog finds the odor, they are rewarded with food or a toy.
Jumping, flying, splashing... Canine dock diving is a fun, competitive dog sport that measures the distance a dog can jump into a 20,000 gallon pool of water.
From dog shelter to show field, this performance features a diverse cast of world-class canine athletes providing high-energy, gravity-defying stunts.
From sled dogs to service dogs, each day will feature a different dog-related club or organization. Each group will provide an entertaining and educational demonstration that showcases the talents of the dogs and handlers in their group.
