Grand Champion Hall & Stage
Check out the winners of our amateur exhibit contests including textiles, crafts, photography, quilting, culinary, and horticulture. From Bonsai chats, beer and wine making demos to culinary contests galore, Grand Champion Hall is overflowing with flowers and fun!
Enjoy live food competitions on Friday, Aug. 7; Sunday, Aug. 9; Thursday, Aug. 13, and Saturday, Aug. 15. Plus, don’t miss the fan-favorite Grand Eats & Treats competition on Wednesday, Aug. 12. During this live judging event, you’ll eat scrumptious samples from the state’s collection of delicious local food businesses.
Open daily from 10am – 9pm. Located on Main Street across from the Exposition Center.

Culinary
Get inspiration for your next meal, dessert, snack, and more with award-winning entries from our culinary exhibitors. Plus, live culinary judging will take place on the first Friday and Sunday of the State Fair.

Photography
See the world through the lens of our photography exhibitors. With thousands of entries and hundreds of different classes, the photography walls are sure to impress the novice and experienced photographer.

Quilting
Did you know that some quilts can take up to two years to make? Marvel at these amazing works of art as they hang from the ceilings and are incorporated into display cases with other prize-winning exhibits.

Textile & Craft
From sewing and crocheting to woodworking jewelry-making and everything in between, these textiles and crafts created by our exhibitors are cozy, stylish, and stunningly beautiful.

Amateur Beer & Wine
Brewed and pressed in the homes of our exhibitors, this display includes the winners of the top awards in our Homebrew and Vintner’s Competitions.

Grand Champion Eats & Treats
Come sample Wisconsin’s finest treats on Wednesday, August 12 from 10:30am-3pm in Grand Champion Hall. Listen in on the judges’ comments and placings during live judging and meet the finest Wisconsin small food businesses, sample their products, and say yum!
