Calling all artists who have a true passion for Wisconsin State Fair! This year’s theme, “Rooted in Tradition,” showcases the deep agricultural roots that make Wisconsin shine. Show off your creativity and capture State Fair’s heritage in a single, bold design as we celebrate 175 years of Showing off Wisconsin!

Enter a color sketch for the 2026 Fairtastic Poster Competition celebrating Wisconsin State Fair and you could win a $1,250 grand prize.

Final artwork will be featured on a commemorative poster, postcards, and more.

Entry Information & Contest Rules

Artwork should reflect a bright, bold singular graphic element showing rooted in tradition, agriculture at the Wisconsin State Fair.

Artists have the chance to win $1,250 grand prize if their piece is selected. A $400 stipend and six (6) complimentary admission tickets will go to all three finalists. All entrants will receive two (2) complimentary admission tickets for entry at the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair, August 6-16.

All submissions must include the following:

A completed entry form
Resume (maximum of two pages)
Color sketch using bright, bold colors showing a singular graphic element of Rooted in Tradition at Wisconsin State Fair
Brief description of submitted sketch and intended medium
3 color copies of previous work
