The Wisconsin State Fair and the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation will continue their partnership with Kohl’s Cares. The partnership features the annual Kohl’s Family Value Day on Monday, Aug. 6, which provides discounted admission to all fairgoers, the Kohl’s Activity Zone and “Fair Day” at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Come hungry on Tuesday, August 7 and sample a variety of Fair foods available at more than 50 food vendors who offer smaller sizes of your favorite items at reduced prices! Pick up a Crazy Grazin’ brochure at any Fair Information Center presented by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and look for posters displayed at participating vendors.
Registration is open for Wisconsin State Fair Day Camp 2017! Fair Day Camp is a fantastic experience for students to visit the State Fair and learn about what makes the Wisconsin State Fair unique.
Pick up a glass of ice cold milk for only 50 cents, available in a variety of your favorite flavors, on South Grandstand Avenue near the Exposition Center.
Sea Lion Splash, presented by Empower Credit Union, located on South Grandstand Avenue, will have crowds cheering and laughing once again, while also teaching valuable lessons about marine wildlife and conservation. The sea lions will amaze as they balance balls, shoot hoops and even perform handstands! This is the only traveling sea lion show in the U.S. and each 30-minute show will educate the audience while also bringing out the natural comedic nature of these amazing animals.
Forgot your sunscreen? You can still enjoy the sunshine safely. Look for one of three FREE sunflower sunscreen stations conveniently located throughout the Fair Park (in SpinCity, near the Guest Services Pavilion and in front of We Energies Energy Park). Sunflowers will be stocked with SPF 30, suitable for fairgoers ages one year and older.
It's “Thyme” to check out all the amazing artists’ paintings! On Monday, August 6 and Tuesday, August 7, be sure to look for artists throughout the Fair as they find their perfect Moo-na Lisa. Once the finished artwork is judged on Tuesday, the Plein Air Art Gallery in the lobby of the Exposition Center will be open for Fairgoers to purchase their favorite piece. Fun, safety, food, gardens, birds and more! Visit We Energies Energy Park to learn about electric and gas safety with our interactive games and exhibits. Get an identification wristband to keep your child safe at the fair. You can enjoy cooking and gardening presentations, see birds of prey up close and participate in a game show or solar car race. Energy Park is on the west side of the fair on Wetley Way at Center Street.
