The Coliseum

The Coliseum is the main show ring at the Wisconsin State Fair for judging events of cattle and horses. Some days may include judging events for sheep and swine, along with industry events such as the Junior Dairy Cattle Showmanship or the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction.

Cattle Barns

Over 1,100 dairy and 500 beef cattle are housed in four cattle barns during all eleven days of the Wisconsin State Fair. The Upper Cattle Barns were built in 1974 and are three barn structures that are all one, continuous building. The Lower Cattle Barn, built in 1907, is one of the oldest buildings at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Compeer Financial Discovery Barnyard

Families can discover Wisconsin’s diverse and thriving agriculture industry through a variety of engaging activities in this FREE and interactive exhibit. Located in Ag Village on Sue Wetley Court, just south of the Lower Cattle Barn. Open daily from 9 am – 9 pm.

Dairy Lane

House of Moo is now the Dairy Lane Exhibit! Families will enjoy these educational and interactive exhibits located in the heart of Ag Village. Fairgoers of all ages will learn about Wisconsin's vibrant dairy industry.

Farm & Family Building

Connect with fun in the Farm & Family Building. Race a potato Porsche or carrot Camaro in the Veggie 500 and meet Alice in Dairyland. Learn about farm animals with our new life-size board game. Play Plinko, spin a big wheel or toss some bean bags to learn more about Wisconsin products and safe food for people and animals. Get tips on protecting yourself against common consumer scams. Get a special stamp on your scavenger hunt card at each game station and when you’ve filled your card, color a button to take home. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection connects with you every day.

Livestock Horse Barn

The Livestock Horse Barn is a two-story barn that is home to over 400 horses during the Wisconsin State Fair. The Livestock Horse Barn also features a number of special agriculture exhibits including The Milking Parlor.

Milking Parlor

Courtesy of the Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board, you can view the cow and goat milking demonstrations. Located in Ag Village at the southeast corner of the Livestock Horse Barn on Central Avenue.

“Neigh”borhood Corral

This in-depth agricultural exhibit focuses entirely on horses. The “Neigh”borhood Corral features grooming demonstrations, educational displays and more, all of which feature engaging and exciting information about the horse industry.

Poultry & Rabbit Palace

The Poultry & Rabbit Palace is a temporary structure that is home to over 800 rabbits and 800 poultry during the 11-day Fair. Stop by during the first 6 days of the Fair to see all the furry and colorful rabbits and then come back during the last 5 days of the Fair to check out all our feathered friends.

Sheep & Goat Barn

The Sheep & Goat Barn is home to over 1,500 sheep and goats throughout the annual Wisconsin State Fair. This building also features its very own showring in which the sheep and goats staying in this building will compete for coveted awards within and across all breeds.
