Sensory-Friendly SpinCity Morning
Wisconsin State Fair invites Fairgoers who may have special sensory needs to come play games and experience thrills from 11am-1pm on Monday, August 5 when lights, sounds, and announcements will be reduced in SpinCity.
Please note: Some attractions are unable to be fully silenced. Operational noises and safety-related announcements will be noticeable.
Accessible Parking
Cost: $15 per vehicle
The S. 84th Street (north of W. Greenfield Avenue) Parking Lot is for Accessible parking only. Please enter at Gate 2, located S. 84th Street, with your parking pass ready to be scanned. This parking lot opens at 9am daily. No general parking is allowed in this lot.
Designated accessible parking is also available through the following vehicle gates:
- Gate 1 – located at W. Greenfield Avenue and S. 79th Street | Opens at 6am daily
- Gate 7 – located on W. Kearney Street (between S. 84th St. & S. 76th St.) | Opens at 9am daily
Proper decals or license plates must be displayed.
Gates may close if parking lots are full. Upon entering the lot, you will pay for parking via credit/debit card or show your prepaid parking pass. Once parked, proceed to the nearest State Fair admission entrance. If your vehicle leaves the parking lot, you will be charged for parking upon re-entry. All parking is first-come, first-served.
Accessible Parking Spaces cannot be reserved in advance. Advance sale of parking has now closed. Parking is still available at the State Fair and you will be able to purchase it at the parking gates.
Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located throughout the State Fair for Fairgoers’ convenience in the Exposition Center, Wisconsin Products Pavilion, corner of Grandstand Avenue and First Street, and at the corner of Central Avenue and Second Street.
Family/All-Gender restrooms and adult-sized, adjustable changing tables are available at the Central Mall restrooms and the Exposition Center. The family restroom equipped with an adult-sized powered changing table is also located in the north lobby of the Exposition Center.
Specially equipped portable restrooms are available at the State Fair Main Stage and at the UScellular Main Entrance.
Wheel Chair & Scooter Rentals
Daily rentals of wheelchairs and/or electric scooters are offered at three locations including the UScellular Main Entrance, State Fair Main Stage Entrance G, and West Entrance C. Rentals fees are:
- $25 Wheelchair or Oversized Wheelchair
- $65 Electric Scooter ($45 after 6 pm)
Electric scooters may be reserved online or by phone at 262-677-2696 (processing fees will apply).
You must provide a valid, major credit card for use as a deposit. However, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash are accepted for final remaining payment onsite. Rentals must be returned by 10pm Sunday – Wednesday; 12am Thursday – Saturdays; and 10pm on the final Sunday.
Charging stations are available at all of our locations for charging patrons’ scooters. A compressor is also available at the West Entrance C.

Service Animals:
Working service animals are permitted and are required to be on a leash, harnessed, or tethered.
The State Fair Main Stage:
Accessible Ramp is General Admission.
Shows, based on request, can offer certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters with expertise in music, comedy, and platform interpreting. Please call (414) 266-7071 or email entertainment@wistatefair.com to request interpreting services. Requests for ASL interpreters must be placed in advance of the performance with at least a two (2) week notice needed before the start of the State Fair. While efforts will be made to accommodate a request made less than two (2) weeks prior to a show, it cannot be guaranteed.
