Types of Available Facilities

With 200 acres and 20 buildings available for rent, we have the space, expertise and amenities that will make your event a success.

Based on individual needs, our professional events team will make your event an occasion to remember.

Agriculture Facilities

Our Agriculture Facilities, referred to as Ag Village, are a multi-use area with several facilities available for much more than agricultural programming. An extensive array of buildings lend themselves to a multitude of diverse events and storage rental areas.

Amphitheater and Central Marketplace

The amphitheater provides the opportunity for smaller music and stage events, speeches or rallies. This venue includes a covered stage and open-air bleacher seating for up to 2,000 guests.

Bi-Level Livestock Barn

The Bi-Level Livestock Barn - complete with 32,000 square feet per floor, office space, restrooms, showers, a milking parlor, and washing stations - allows the building to host everything from animal agriculture events to flea markets and storage.

Case IH Coliseum

Capable of seating 3,120, this open air structure features a show ring, two concession stands, restroom facilities, office space and ticket booths. World Beef Expo, multiple horse shows, rodeos, dances and competitions are among the activities the Case IH Coliseum has been utilized for.

Dairy Cattle Barn

The Dairy Cattle Barn was built in 1907 and is one of the oldest buildings at Wisconsin State Fair Park. This barn can be used as either a warm-up ring or for stalling livestock. The Dairy Cattle Barn features a total capacity of 172 stalls in over 46,000 square feet.

Exploratory Park

The beautiful, park-like setting provides a tranquil atmosphere for outdoor events of many natures. Exploratory Park is ideal for small receptions, day-retreats and more to provide a serene setting for a variety of occasions.

Exposition Center

With nearly 200,000 square feet of exhibition space, the Exposition Center is one of Wisconsin’s largest exhibit facilities. This space includes adaptable exhibit and meeting room space, catering services, ample parking and more.

Livestock Barns

The Livestock Barns feature a total capacity of 286 stalls in over 54,000 square feet. These open-air barns are joined together by two covered livestock washing stations.

Whether you need a small space or large exhibit hall for your meeting or conference, Wisconsin State Fair Park has a facility to match. See below for details on the Exposition Center and Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center.

Milwaukee Mile

The Milwaukee Mile is a one mile long oval race track located at Wisconsin State Fair Park with grandstand and bleacher seating for approximately 35,000 spectators.

Original Cream Puff Pavilion

The facility, best known for its iconic namesake during the annual State Fair, features 18,000 square feet of space that is a unique and popular alternative for smaller events throughout the year.

Outdoor Facilities

Wisconsin State Fair Park features over 200 acres of facilities for outdoor events. From a blank slate in any of the 15 parking lots at State Fair Park to the historic Milwaukee Mile Speedway, there are several outdoor facilities available for transformation into any kind of event.

Parking Lots

Wisconsin State Fair Park has over 2.5 million square feet of rentable parking lot space to make your event come to life. The areas are ideal for multiple usages including tented events, drive-thru sales, small festivals, or motorized events such as motorcycle training classes.

Peck Media Center

Originally built for racing teams and media professionals, the Milton Peck Media Center is a perfect space to hold your next meeting. Located inside the Milwaukee Mile Speedway, this facility provides a one-of-a-kind setting for your meeting goals to come to life.

Sheep & Goat Barn

The Sheep & Goat Barn is a flexible use building, perfect for a smaller livestock show, storage, use for rummage sales, and other open air type events. This building features its own show ring and designated office in the center of the facility.

Swine & Goat Barn

The Swine & Goat Barn is a flexible use facility that is perfect for a smaller livestock show, storage, and other open air type events. This building features its own show ring and designated office in the center of the building.

Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center

The Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center is capable of hosting a multitude of events including banquets, meetings and events while also providing dormitory style housing accommodations.

Warm Up Ring

The Warm Up Ring features a large, covered area perfect for warming up animals before a show in the Case IH Coliseum. This facility can also serve as excellent covered storage space.

Wisconsin Products Pavilion

The Wisconsin Products Pavilion is one of the most widely used facilities within State Fair Park. A clear span building with 32,000 square feet of event space makes this a versatile rental facility with the ability to host a multitude of different events.

Wisconsin State Fair Park Receives GBAC STAR Accreditation

Wisconsin State Fair Park is one of the first fairgrounds in the United States to receive GBAC STARTM Accreditation, the gold standard on outbreak prevention, response, and recovery for prepared facilities. This accreditation encompasses all buildings and outdoor facilities at State Fair Park, including the annual Wisconsin State Fair.
