COVID-19 Operations & Guidelines Plan
Operational Standards & Guidelines
Wisconsin State Fair Park (WSFP) is dedicated to providing safe and clean facilities and operations for all events.
In partnership with event promoters, we will make every effort to follow professional industry recommendations as they apply to events held at State Fair Park.
Pre-show event meetings are required for show management and Wisconsin State Fair Park staff to review operational procedures.
Guidelines and recommendations are subject to change at any time per guidance from the various governmental entities mentioned on this page.
It is expected that all event promoters read and understand the guidelines provided in the following links:
GBAC STARTM Facility Accreditation
Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, Wisconsin State Fair Park has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention.
The GBAC STARTM program helps organizations establish protocols and procedures, offers expert-led training, assesses a facility’s readiness for biorisk situations, and verifies the application of best practices to prepare for, respond to, and recover from outbreaks and pandemics.
Disinfectant
All high touch points will be wiped down multiple times a day with an EPA approved disinfectant. Restrooms will be cleaned using the Kaivac no-touch cleaning system on a regularly scheduled basis.
As soon as load in begins, surfaces and objects that are touched frequently, including but not limited to those listed below, will be regularly disinfected.
Hand Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer stations will be readily available throughout State Fair Park.
