Week 1: Fair Food Drive-Thru presented by Bank Five Nine

Opening week of the Fair Food Drive-Thru presented by Bank Five Nine will feature 40 different fair foods over 2.2 miles throughout the historic Milwaukee Mile and State Fair Park.

Week 1 of Deep-Fried Bliss kicks off at 4pm on Thursday, July 23 and opens at 11 am on Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26.

FREE admission! Vehicles should enter State Fair Park via Gate 9 located at S. 76th Street & W. Pierce Street. Please note: This is not your traditional fast food drive-thru experience. It will take a little time to reach all desired stops on the Fair Food Drive-Thru route, so plan accordingly and enjoy!

Drive-Thru Instructions & Route Map

Vehicles will enter Gate 9 off of 76th Street & W. Pierce Avenue to get in line for the Fair Food Drive-Thru. One-way traffic will wind through the Milwaukee Mile and State Fair Park.

  • See a food vendor you like? Exit the Drive-Thru lane to the vendor area to order and receive your food item from this vendor. Once completed, proceed straight to return to the Drive-Thru lane to find your next food adventure.
  • Want to pass up a certain vendor? No problem – just stay in the Drive-Thru lane and proceed to your desired delicacy!
  • Miss a vendor? You will have to finish the Drive-Thru route and go back to the start of the line.

Please enter State Fair Park via Gate 9 located at S. 76th Street & W. Pierce Street.

Each car will follow the same one-way route through State Fair Park. Once you reach your desired location, you may pull into that vendor’s area to purchase your items.

What if I want to purchase multiple items from multiple vendors?2020-07-02T08:36:57-05:00

You will follow the one-way route, and stop at vendor(s) you would like to purchase food from. Once you have completed your purchase, you may get back in line to visit other vendors as desired.

Due to COVID 19, to protect our attendees and operators, we ask that everyone remain in their vehicles during the ordering and food delivery process.

Once all food and beverages are received, all vehicles will follow the route out of State Fair Park to enjoy their meals at home.

Vehicles will follow an assigned one-way route, with options to pull into different vendor areas. Limited stalls will be available at each vendor location for those waiting for orders.

Cream Puffs will be available the last two weekends, August 6 – 9 and August 13 – 16. The last stop on the Fair Food Drive-Thru will be for Original Cream Puffs for those two weeks.

Pedestrian traffic will not be allowed.

Can I ride my bicycle through the drive-thru route?2020-07-02T08:56:38-05:00

All participants of the Fair Food Drive-Thru must be in a motorized vehicle.

You are not required to wear a mask in your vehicle at the Fair Food Drive-Thru.

There will not be ATMs available on site.

Nearly all vendors are accepting credit cards as a form of payment in an effort to reduce person-to-person interaction through cash and change handling.

A few vendors in Weeks 3 & 4 are cash-only, so please bring cash with you if you wish to visit those vendors.

When can I get in line for the Fair Food Drive-Thru?2020-07-20T11:25:42-05:00

The Drive-Thru opens at 4pm on Thursdays and 11am on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Gates will open one hour before the scheduled start time each day.

Each vendor sets their own pricing for items on their menu.

Pricing may vary depending upon their individual supplier and operating costs, similar to how two grocery stores sell similar groceries at different prices.

No, the Souvenir Cup program will not be available during the Fair Food Drive-Thru.
