Hands-on Learning Stations

With many opportunities to “get your hands dirty,” experience all the hands-on learning stations we have for you!

  • Biosecurity Junction – Try your hand at scooping poop (made from foam… we leave the real stuff to the professionals), an essential part of waste management for biosecurity.
  • Conservation Station – Snap a photo with the CD wall backdrop and challenge your friends in Conservation Memory.
  • Cultivation Crossway – Check out a tiered gardening display and make a “From Seed to Plant” keychain.
  • Dirt-scovery Depot – View roots and soil from a worm’s perspective and check out healthy soil shaker jars.
  • Milkhouse Mainline – Milk a model dairy cow and/or dairy goat – both essential pieces to Wisconsin’s robust dairy industry.
  • Pollination Passage – Put on your “pollinator goggles” and guide birds, butterflies, and bees as they pollinate a flower garden.
