There could be a variety of reasons why an event that was held at the Fair Park in the past does not appear on our current calendar of events. The event may have been a one-time occurrence, the event may have moved to a new location, the promoter may have cancelled the event, etc.

Any and all employment opportunities at Wisconsin State Fair Park will be posted on the Employment page of our website. This includes full-time, permanent and Limited Term Employment (LTE)/seasonal opportunities. Annually, Wisconsin State Fair Park hires hundreds of seasonal, part-time employees to work the annual 11-day Wisconsin State Fair. In addition, some departments hire a range of employees for summer work leading up to the Fair. Recruitment for summer and/or Fair positions generally starts in mid-spring and our Employment page will be updated accordingly.
All employees of Wisconsin State Fair Park must be at least 16 years old by the time of employment to work for Wisconsin State Fair Park, with the exception of the Public Safety Department, whose employees must be at least 18 years old. Limited Term and seasonal employees must also be residents of Wisconsin to be employed. See the Employment page of our website for more information on residency requirements. In addition, any applicant being considered for employment with Wisconsin State Fair Park must successfully pass a criminal background check to be offered a position.

No, Wisconsin State Fair Park does not sponsor events, but we wish you the best of luck in securing sponsors for your endeavor.
The Wisconsin State Fair does have a limited allocation of admission tickets each year for charitable contributions and requests are filled on a first-come, first served basis. As an agency of the State of Wisconsin we are unable to donate to religious organizations. In an effort to fulfill as many requests as possible, only one event per organization or charity will receive a contribution from Wisconsin State Fair each calendar year. All requests must be submitted in writing on the organization or charity’s letterhead and include the deadline for fulfillment. Please send all promotional materials to the following address: Wisconsin State Fair, ATTN: Entertainment Department, 640 South 84th Street, West Allis, WI 53214. All packages must be received no later than the end of January prior to that year’s Fair.
If you sent it to the correct address and to our entertainment department’s attention, we received it. We receive hundreds of packages to consider and, therefore, we do not respond to emails or phone inquiries asking if we received the package.
