There could be a variety of reasons why an event that was held at the Fair Park in the past does not appear on our current calendar of events. The event may have been a one-time occurrence, the event may have moved to a new location, the promoter may have cancelled the event, etc.

Any job openings for full-time employment at Wisconsin State Fair Park will be posted in the "employment" section of our website. Wisconsin State Fair Park hires hundreds of seasonal, part-time employees for the annual Wisconsin State Fair. A number of departments hire for a range of positions during the summer. All employees must be at least 16 years of age, and some positions require clearance of a background check. Departments with open positions will hire employees at our annual Job Fair held in mid-June. Applications are available for download in the month of May and completion in advance of the Job Fair and they are also available on site the day of the Job Fair. For the date and time of the annual Job Fair, please check our "employment" section where details will be posted as soon as the date, time, and location at the Fair Park are confirmed.

The Wisconsin State Fair does have a limited allocation of admission tickets each year for charitable contributions and requests are filled on a first-come, first served basis. As an agency of the State of Wisconsin we are unable to donate to religious organizations. In an effort to fulfill as many requests as possible, only one event per organization or charity will receive a contribution from Wisconsin State Fair each calendar year. All requests must be submitted in writing on the organization or charity's letterhead and include the deadline for fulfillment. If you sent it to the correct address and to our entertainment department's attention, we received it. We receive hundreds of packages to consider and, therefore, we do not respond to emails or phone inquiries asking if we received the package.
