Youth and Teens from throughout the state pre-qualified to compete at the State Fair for the chance to be crowned the champion of the Wisconsin State Fair Junior Amateur Talent Competition.

2015 Wisconsin State Fair Junior Amateur Talent Competition

Show off your most prized skills and amazing talents during the first annual Wisconsin State Fair Junior Amateur Talent Competition! From juggling to dancing, singing to playing an instrument – whatever your talent, the sky is the limit.

Kids of all ages can compete – the Youth Division is for those ages 2 to 12 and the Teen Division is open to 13 to 18-year-olds. Put together a three-minute performance and get ready to impress the judges.

The Junior Amateur Talent Competition finals took place at the Wisconsin State Fair on Friday, August 14 at the Activity Stage. To qualify for the finals, contestants must compete at a county level at one of the following Wisconsin county fairs or events:

*These fairs participated in 2014 and will compete at the Wisconsin State Fair finals in 2015.

Youth Division:

1st Place – $3,000: Ellie Brenner_(Singing) -Northern Wisconsin State Fair

2nd Place – $1,500: Lindsey Klapatauskas (Dancing) –Taylor County Fair

3rd Place – $500: Madeline Lau-Melby (Dancing) –Trempealeau County Fair

Teen Division:

1st Place – $3,000: Faith Hopkins (Dancing) –Northern Wisconsin State Fair

2nd Place – $1,500: Chloe Halverson (Singing) –St. Croix County Fair

3rd Place – $500: Isaiah Berthon (Accordion) –Marquette County Fair
